Oak + Fort Reviews

I’ve bought a few things from Oak + Fort that I really liked, so maybe I just expected the return process to be a bit easier. It wasn’t terrible, but I did have to wait longer than I thought for updates, and the exchange options felt limited. Maybe I missed something or just didn’t understand the process fully, but it felt a little more annoying than it needed to be. It all worked out in the end, just not the smoothest experience.

It took around a few days to hear back, and when they finally replied, they didn’t really help much with my return.

The site looked okay to me, but the checkout, was lagging a lot. My cart kept updating in a weird way too, which was annoying. For just placing one order, it took way longer than it should have

I really like the overall look of Oak + Fort, simple, cute, and easy to wear, but the sizing was a little all over the place for me. I ordered my usual size, and one top was loose, while the pants were tight around the waist and still too long on me.
The quality was fine in my opinion, especially if you're just looking for everyday basics, but I wouldn’t say it felt amazing for every item. I might order again, but probably only if I can try things on in store first, because the size chart didn’t help much and dealing with returns is kind of a pain

I used to really like Oak and Fort, but lately I swear everything looks like it came out of some secret meeting where they decided only boxy shapes and beige, black, or grey are allowed. The pieces can look cute online, almost suspiciously cute, but then in person they feel kind of unfinished and not that flattering. For the price, I was expecting more actual style, not basics that look like they could be from anywhere. It feels like they’re trying to convince us that plain equals elevated...

I really liked how everything looked online, so I was excited when my order showed up. But the fabric wasn’t quite what I expected. One of the tops felt really thin and a bit scratchy, not soft or comfy like it looked in the photos.
The trousers were kind of disappointing too. They wrinkled almost immediately and somehow picked up lint after just one wear, which was annoying. For the price, I figured the material would feel a little more solid and nicer overall.

The fit was decent and shipping was totally fine, so it wasn’t a complete fail or anything. I just don’t think I’d order again unless there was a good sale, because the quality didn’t really match what I was hoping for.

I stopped in and found a few good basic pieces, but the size options were limited. The staff was okay, not rude or anything, just not especially helpful either. Prices felt a little higher than I’d expect for what it is. I know brands like to make everything sound super premium in their marketing, but in person it felt more like a regular store with average stuff.

The tracking barely updated, so I had no idea what was going on, and my package showed up much later than it was supposed to. I reached out to customer service, but the replies felt generic and didn’t really help. I do like some of their clothes, but this delivery experience was super frustrating and not really worth the hassle.

I’ve been waiting around for my refund and it feels like it’s taking forever. I expected it to be sorted out in about a few days, but I’m still waiting.

I had a gut feeling as soon as I took the clothes out of the package that they weren’t going to live up to the price. They look really cute online, but in person they felt basic to me, like nothing about the fabric or finish really stood out.

For what I paid, I was expecting a better fit and something that felt more premium. it kind of feels like you’re paying for the whole aesthetic more than the actual quality. I wouldn’t order again.

I’m disappointed. I waited in the queue for ages just to buy this sweater, and after one wash it already started getting pilly. The stitching also looks cheap, which is frustrating considering how much it cost. I expected way better quality.
